Coinciding with the Health and Well-being Week at Expo 2020 Dubai, Andreu World and the Spanish Pavilion organize the round table “Women and Sustainability. Perspectives from Architecture, Design, Education and the Corporate World”. The meeting will take place on January 31 at 10:30 a.m. (Dubai local time) in the Women's Pavilion of the Dubai World Expo. The round table will deal with the role of women in the challenge of sustainability from different approaches in the fields of architecture, design, education and business. On the panel will be Patricia Urquiola, one of the most important designers of our time whose reflection translates into work that wants to contribute to a better world; Dina Storey, Director of Sustainability for Expo2020, which aspires to be one of the most sustainable World Expos in history; Lorena del Río, director of SEGIPSA projects and specialist in Urbanism, Planning and the Environment; Juan Roldán, professor at the American University of Sharjah College of Architecture, Art, and Design, works on different educational projects, Samer Yamani, design curator. Curator of MENASA – Emirati Design Platform/ Design and Crafts Program at Expo 2020 Dubai and Jesús Llinares, CEO of Andreu World, a company in the furniture sector whose challenge is to be in a circular economy by 2025.
