
ENCOUNTERS. Design Conversations: Uncertainty

Sol Candela Alcover, director of the arquia Foundation, moderates a round table with Uncertainty, the team formed by the Canarian architects Sofía Piñero, Domingo J. González, Andrzej Gwizdala and Fernando Herrera, winners of the contest organized by MITMA for the curatorship of the exhibition of the Spanish Pavilion at the XVII International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.
How will we live together? That is the theme proposed by the architect Hashim Sarkis and on which this team of architects were inspired to present a proposal that reflects on the role of architecture in these uncertain times caused by the pandemic.
After the presentation of the exhibition project, the Valencian studios whose selected work forms the interior of the pavilion will participate through an open and inspiring conversation - dialogue.
Access to the event will be limited and will require prior registration.
The event will continue on Thursday, September 30 at the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia in a meeting focused on the design of the exhibition space of the pavilion itself. It will be at 12.30 pm at the Aula Magna of the School of Architecture as the inaugural lecture of the Degree in Interior Architectural Design at the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
