The first meeting of World Design Generation arrives this Thursday October 13th at Àgora València with the aim of showing the design that exists in water sports. This event will bring together young promises of design and aquatic disciplines in an interesting round table where they will share their experiences and talk about the importance of design in these sports that have the sea in common.
Participants: Hugo Cerverón, founder of Mediterranean Surf School; Luis Faguás, director of the Municipal Sailing School in the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community; Juan Bautista, president of the Rowing Federation of the Valencian Community; Gaspar, representative of SUP Life Valencia, and Eva Gil Tatay, Spanish sailing champion and founder of Tatay Atelier.
At the end of the round table, there will be an exhibition of boats related to water sports and a projection of how a surfboard is shaped with live illustrations.
The event will end with two DJ sets with Mijuji and Pigmento Sónico.
World Design Generation is an initiative promoted by València World Design Capital 2022 with the aim of giving voice and visibility to young talents in all fields of art and design. The program consists of three free meetings open to all audiences that will take place in Àgora València.
From a sporty and very everyday approach, it will be demonstrated that design is present in all aspects of life anywhere in the world. A unique opportunity to share your concerns, hobbies and desire to leave your mark with a whole generation.
