The exhibition contains the personalized reference of those who, over more than 200 years, have left their mark on our cities and who, with their work, constitute the best example of our professional practice.
From the oldest, Antonio Gilabert, Manuel Fornés, Manuel Tolsá, Sebastián Monleón, Rafael Guastavino and Antonio Martorell, to the most recent, awarded since 1990 for their professional career as “Mestres Valencians d’Arquitectura” Luis Gay, Miguel Colomina, Juan José Estellés, Rafael Contel, Vicente Valls, Fernando M. García Ordóñez, Emilio Giménez, Antonio Escario, Rafael Tamarit and Manuel Portaceli. They and many others of recognized renown as Demetrio Ribes, Javier Goerlich, Fernando Moreno Barberá or Luis Albert, allow us to expose a list of professionals to which we are unaware of the recent incorporation of women architects, symbolized by the first registered in this demarcation, Pilar Ros.
The exhibition is presented in individual panels that collect the most interesting images and texts of the publication and has been curated by the authors of the same, Alberto Peñín and Francisco Taberner with Javier Cortina.
