EXHIBITION. “Product product product”

PRODUCT PRODUCT PRODUCT is an exhibition project that arises from the need to narrate what is behind the design of the pieces created by Jorge Herrera Studio.

“I was not interested in addressing all the design steps behind each product, but to tell the steps that we think are interesting, adding the most human part, the experience and cultural exchange, but always thinking about the process and without losing the focus on the products,” explains Jorge Herrera.

From June 16 to September 30, the Escola Superior de Disseny de València, located in Plaza Viriato s/n in Valencia, hosts this dialogue with the product design process. The exhibition shows the multidisciplinary capacity of JHS. Art direction, product, space design and internationalization are given in PRODUCT PRODUCT PRODUCT PRODUCT.

“Conveying the product design process carries a certain responsibility. Many people tend to fall into the cliché that designers make a sketch on a napkin and others make it, and that’s not the case. We are involved in the whole process, contributing and providing solutions to the technical part, so that functionality, design, manufacturability and commercialization go well together”.

This meeting is framed within the framework of the World Design Capital Valencia 2022. “The exhibition aligns with the values of the World Design Capital Valencia 2022 by giving visibility to the international design capacity that exists in the city.”
