“Valencia illustrated” is the project that La Rambleta promoted six years ago to make the city of Valencia known through the eyes of illustrators. After this time, in which the project had become a reference meeting for many and many illustrators, “Valencia illustrated” turns with the intention of showing other ways and means of illustrating that go beyond the paper support, Therefore, in this new stage, the action and objective will be focused on illustration applied to product design in “Valencia illustrated and designed”.
In the first of the presentations of this new stage, we will have the proposal of the designer Mónica Ballester, who has created for the occasion a totally new and unprecedented image applied to three products with which we will recognize Valencia and its identity.
Mónica Ballester is a graphic illustration professional. Degree in Fine Arts and Master in Graphic Design and Illustration specializing in Design, he works independently and also for advertising agencies in which he develops her creativity by relating design and illustration to different products, thus contributing to the revaluation of both the object and the brand they represent. A cider, a chocolate or a rice liqueur are among some of the products that Ballester has customized in recent times, but it will not be until next April 21 when we know the ones chosen for his “Valencia illustrated and designed”.
With defined lines and clean backgrounds, the work of Mónica Ballester is characterized by a very personal use of color, thus ensuring that her designs are quickly identified by their own and particular imprint.
