In the Luis Adelantado Gallery, against the backdrop of an exhibition that has germinated thanks to sunlight, Dídac Ballester and Nacho Pérez emerged from the studio where they work together every morning, to give us an update on their lives together as designers. And, of course, to show their complicity. Half an hour of frensy during which they demonstrated that sustainability in design goes far beyond avoiding plastics.
  • Dídac Ballester: Graphic designer. His professional career began in 1996 and, after forming part of various studios, in 2005 he created his own. His studio specialises in visual identity projects, book design and packaging. He belongs to the group of designers “Aplec de disseny”. He has been a member of the governing board of the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community, the organising committee of the International Typography Congress of Valencia and the organising committee of Valencia Disseny Week. Cofounder of Lateral, escola de disseny. At present, he teaches Book Design on the Official Master’s Degree in Editorial Design at the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño in Valencia. He has been responsible for the Typography subject of the Master’s Degree in Graphic Design of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
 
  • Nacho Pérez: Graphic designer specialising in editorial design. He collaborates with Dídac Ballester’s studio and also works as a freelance designer. He has formed part of the editorial system of the IVAM, Let's bring blacks home, and the yearbook Anuario de la Creatividad Española.
