In «Yo, grafitera», different professionals have participated on the subject of women in graffiti, street art and muralism. As guests we will find Nena Wapa, a legend in the Valencian streets; Loles Grau, muralist who promotes Feminist Art; and Alexandra, who pours out her art both on human skin and on the skin of the city.
Open to questions from the public, they will chat about the fascinating world in which streets become canvases and cities, open-air art museums.
After the presentation there will be a talk between the participating artists:
– Loles Grau, artist and muralist promoter of Femenist Art.
– Nena Wapa, graduated in BBAA, since 2006 works as an urban artist with the stencil technique. She has been part of the Wall Arttitude association with which they organized the festivals Grafitea in Cheste and Muraliza’t in Muro. Currently, from the Cocinas4 studio-gallery, she organizes educational workshops on urban art and commented routes. Her works can be seen in museums such as l’Etno, Muvim and CCCC.
– Alexandra R., Self-taught artist in terms of muralism, tattoo and illustration. She also participates in activities on inclusion and gender in institutes in the Valencian Community, where she works as a freelance tattoo artist and illustrator.
