The Association of Designers of the Valencian Community (ADCV), with the support of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI), has been developing, for four years, a research activity on the use of design in companies and the effect that this has on society and on factors such as innovation and productivity.
Based on the knowledge and experience generated, the ADCV wants to consolidate this line of work to continue promoting the competitiveness of the industry and the business fabric of the Valencian Community and the increase in the well-being of society through design. And it does so through a new medium: the Design Impact Observatory. OID!
This initiative of the ADCV was born with the strategic objective of being a reference space to promote innovation based on design, in its broadest sense. For this reason, it is conceived as a space open to all of society and the business sector, given that the concept of “impact of design” is assumed from the OID! in all its aspects: economic, social, cultural, environmental and, in general, in everything related to the improvement of people’s well-being.
On Wednesday, April 27, we will present the Design Impact Observatory in a session in which we will delve into its objectives, lines of work and forms of participation in greater depth. In addition, the first content of the OID! will be presented. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m., at the Las Naves innovation center (C/Joan Verdeguer, nº16 in València), with an estimated duration of one hour. Program:
