Add to calendar 09/07/22 09/07/22 Europe/Madrid WORKSHOP. “Recycling and circular design” Everything has its place and there is a place for everything. Thinking before throwing away and throwing away to reuse is essential to reduce the amount of waste we generate as a society and fight against the climate emergency in which we live. For all these reasons, EMTRE and World Design Capital Valencia2022 launch an awareness campaign where reduction, reuse, recycling and circular design have a lot to say, and so that, with our actions, we help to take care of the planet. And to make it known and raise awareness among young and old, they have launched a whole day of free workshops in Àgora València, at the Town Hall Square of València, where to learn firsthand how to take care of the planet and get, with our actions, a reduction in waste generation, and greater reuse and recycling of materials. In collaboration with EMTRE's environmental education program, Emtreduca, the environmental awareness workshop CultuRecicla will be held at different times. The workshop consists of a participatory game aimed at families and adults in which, based on a challenge, they have to demonstrate how much they know about correct waste separation, about the importance of bio-waste as a useful resource and about key concepts of environmental sustainability. All this with the aim of promoting curiosity and interest in environmental issues, and promote attitudes of change towards the care of the planet, appealing to the co-responsibility of citizens. Duration: 45 minutes Registration: can be booked in advance for September 7 in the following shifts: 11h, 12h, 13h, 17h, 18h and 19h. Target audience: the minimum recommended age is from 6 years old.
